The House Of Mr Sherwood

Jewellery as emotional architecture. Made in London.

Mr Sherwood is the jewellery design practice of Darren Sherwood a London-based maker known for combining the discipline of traditional mounting with the precision of modern 3D artistry.

Darren’s work is defined by restraint and intention: clean, sculptural forms; considered proportion; and materials chosen not for spectacle, but for the quiet way they hold light, weight, and meaning. Pieces are made to be worn then lived with until they become inseparable from the person who owns them.

The Studio

Mr Sherwood operates from a working studio in Purley, South London, where pieces are developed through sketching, prototyping and bench craft.

The practice is intentionally small. Availability is limited and projects are taken on selectively, with a focus on long-term relationships, meaningful commissions, and work that will endure.

What We Make

  • Bespoke commissions (engagement, heirlooms, personal milestones)

  • High and fine jewellery in limited release

  • Sculptural pieces developed as evolving bodies of work

If you’re enquiring about a commission or collaboration, please include your timeline and what the piece needs to hold, emotionally, not just materially.

The Artist

A London education in excellence Darren’s training was forged inside the standards of London’s highest-level workshops. He is a classically trained goldsmith and diamond mounter, with a career shaped through work for internationally recognised houses including Cartier, Graff Diamonds and Fabergé. That heritage of exacting craft remains present in every edge, junction, and setting whether the work is a one-of-a-kind commission or a tightly controlled release.

Two cultures, one design languageRaised between England and Trinidad & Tobago, Darren brings a distinctive duality to the studio: British discipline and understatement paired with a richer instinct for rhythm, light, and expressive form.

The result is jewellery that feels modern and culturally fluent, quiet at first glance, complex up close.
